What are you allowed to do?

Ok, this is easy.  If you are just looking for fun places to visit, you are allowed to look at any of these pictures as much as you want (I don't pay for bandwidth, why should I care?).  If you are looking for places to go, checking here might not be such a bad idea either.

However, if you want a copy of a picture, here is what you can and can't ask for.

If you are-

Involved with one of these events, just tell me which pictures you would like and I will get them to you  as soon as I get the chance.  If you are asking for a lot of pictures, you will have to give me lots of time.  The versions on this website are smaller than what I have saved (I would need a huge amount of storage otherwise).  The large versions are up to 10 times the size of these pictures, some may even be larger, I am just guessing.  If you use them on a website, please give me photo credit on the pictures that I took (and please refer them to this site -- the correct address to use is).  I can also help you out in getting the best sized picture for what you are doing (using a 300K picture where a 40K one will do the job wastes a lot of time and bandwidth and you can fit many pictures in the space of that one huge monster.

A relative of someone in these pictures.  Same as above.  Please mention who you are a relative of.

An educational group or a group dealing with study abroad.  You can have as many pictures as you would like.  If it gets excessive, I would prefer to burn a CD and just mail it.  I would only ask for the postage and cost of the CD in return (less than US$5 most likely).  This covers both ISA-Butler and members of the Butler group.  You also have permission to mirror or link to this site.  However, this is on my school's server (Ursinus College) and will probably not be at this location forever.  If you choose to use my site or my pictures, I also ask for photo/creation credit where applicable.

A business wishing to use these picture for promotional or other purposes.  This is tricky.  So, please contact me with what you would like and we will work it out from there.  Regardless of the outcome here, I ask for photo credit once again.

A government wishing to use some of these pictures for promotional or other purposes.  Contact me and we will work something out.  I will once again ask for photo credit no matter what the outcome.

Why do I ask for photo credit?  Because I spent the money to buy the camera and accessories and I should get credit where credit is due.  It is not much to ask for and it probably doesn't cost you anything to do.

Also, please note, I have some movies of various places which are not online.  If you would like to know more.
